The Midnight Bounty is a neo-western, action-comedy. A bounty hunter known only as Midnight has been employed by Ray to capture him a degenerate Wanted Man and deliver him to a remote dock on the banks of a grand river set in the mountains. To his chagrin, when Midnight arrives with his capture, Ray is not present as discussed. Instead, a Dangerous Posse sent by Ray awaits him, and they don't plan on paying him his negotiated reward. A classic and ferocious stand-off ensues, and Midnight barely survives. Although the Wanted Man almost escapes, Midnight catches him. Instead of killing the Wanted Man for all the trouble, Midnight decides to take him along on a new mission for a new reward: to find Ray.
