Coyote County Loser sponsored by NRC Broadcasting
comedy
Running Time: 92
In the lonely American Southwest, life is slow for the desert inhabitants of Coyote County. Even with little to otherwise do, few Coyote County residents tune to K-RAP, a struggling talk radio station, slowly withering like a tumbleweed rolling to oblivion. Meanwhile, a rising radio star Jack Proctor reluctantly drives across the high desert passing through Coyote County on his way to Los Angeles and the radio deal of a lifetime. The deal gets held up, and Jack finds himself temping at K-RAP to see if he can put some excitement into the tired station. Lauren, the assistant station manager, who until now has been the star of K-RAP with her love advice show, Heart Smart is less than thrilled about the big-city hotshot coming to try and fix their problems. She feels threatened and does little to hide her dislike for Jack. Lauren questions Jack's ability to counsel people regarding love and romance. Jack accepts the challenge and goes a step further to prove his point. Too prove that he, not Lauren, understands what true love is, Jack will help the biggest loser in Coyote County woo any woman he wants. As, Jack begins counseling the Loser, the the whole community is glued to the radio. Jealous, confused and attracted at Jack's apparent success, Lauren questions her own methods. Before this romantic battle-of-the-sexes is over, Jack and Lauren learn what being a winner and loser really means, and more importantly, realize that true love is selfless love.
