Best friends Alex and Conrad were overcome by an avalanche while climbing in the Tibetan Himalaya. Conrad survived with serious injuries while Alex perished. Suffering from Survivors Guilt, Conrad marries Alex's widow, Jenni, and raises Alex's three boys. Now Conrad and Jenni work to help Sherpas to learn the skills they need to be safer in the Mountains.Sherpas die more often while climbing than any other ethnic group or nationality - this as they help foreign climbers to realize their summit dreams. Can Conrad be the husband and father he seeks to be? Will their efforts save the lives of Sherpas as they help Westerners climb in the Himalaya? This is a story of redemption.
