April 8th, 1994. Its fifteen-year-old Brett Ashleys first day at Manhattan’s prestigious Dwight School. Shes a feisty young vixen whose been kicked out of three schools in the last four years and is skeptical, to say the least, about what her experience at Dwight will bring. Bretts boredom is quickly quelled when she lays eyes on the zombie-like Ritalin Generation Babyť Oli Knox, an outcast at the Dwight School. After realizing a bizarre shared obsession with the legendary band Nirvana, Brett and Oli ditch school and embark on a mission to transform Oli into Kurt Cobain. Over the course of their odd Cobain undertaking, the two teenagers form an unlikely bond¦and fall in love…or do they? The question of love is soon pushed aside though, for what began as just another normal spring day turns out to be anything but for this is the day that Kurt Cobain died'Love/Death/Cobain' is a nostalgic New York City romance that deals with the notions of love and lack of love and the ambiguity of love. Its a coming-of-age tale that centers around the off-beat Brett Ashley and the eternally numb Oli Knox and the shattering of an ideal.
